If you want to try all the drinks we mention in “Going ‘Round the World,” here are the recipes. 
Trying to drink them all in one evening may be hazardous to your health.

A -  Absolut --  a brand of vodka
B -  Beer --   generic name for a malt beverage.  Have a microbrew or an import,  please. 
C -  Cognac--  Many people enjoy  Hennessy, the oldest brand.
D -  Dewar’s -- a brand of scotch.  With ice or soda only, please
E -   Electric Iced Tea -- 1/2 oz. Vodka, 1/2 to 1 oz. triple sec, 1/2 oz. light rum, 1/2 oz. Gin, 1/2 oz. Tequila, 
        1  oz. sour mix, splash of OJ or grenadine.  Shake, strain into soda glass.  Add 7-Up and Blue Curacao 
        for color, serve with a straw and lemon wedge.
F -   Frangelico – a yummy nutty liqueur
G -  Galliano – another liqueur
H -  Highball -- Booze with a mixer.  Bourbon and coke is a good example, or gin and tonic.
I -    Irish Coffee -- 1 oz. Irish whiskey, 1 tsp. Sugar, hot coffee,  1 oz. Cream.  Warm a glass in hot 
        water. Pour out the water and add sugar, whiskey, and cream.  Be sure to add the cream last so that 
        it floats on top.
J -    Jameson’s -- a fine Irish whiskey.
K -   Kaluha -- a coffee liquer. Try it in a white Russian or a black Russian.
L -    Lime Rickey -- 1-1/2 oz. light rum, ¾ oz. coconut syrup, ½ oz. fresh squeezed lime juice, 1 oz. light 
         cream, lime wedge.  Pour all ingredients (except the lime wedge) into a cocktail shaker filled with ice
         cubes. Shake vigorously until blended. Chill. Strain mixture into a cocktail glass. Squeeze lime wedge 
         into the drink and toss it in. Serves 1.
M -  Margarita -- 3 parts tequila, 3 parts lime juice and 1 part orange liqueur.  Put everything in a strong
         blender with an equal amount of ice and liquefy.  If your blender can't crush ice, add some water and put
         the mixture in the freezer, stirring occasionally until slushy.  Or, just serve on the rocks. 
N -    NyQuil -- 3 oz. triple sec, 1.5 oz. Sambuca, 1.5 oz. grenadine. Stir in a lowball glass, then add ice.
O -    Old Fashioned -- 1 teaspoon sugar, splash of club soda or water, 3-5 drops bitters.  Swirl.  Add 2.5 oz. 
         bourbon, fill with club soda or water, serve in old-fashioned glass with a lemon twist.
P -    Planter's Punch --1.5 oz. light rum, 1 oz. orange juice, 1 oz. grapefruit juice, 1 oz. sour mix, splash of 
         grenadine.  Shake, strain into exotic glass.  Float some dark rum on top; serve with a cherry and an 
         orange slice.
Q -   Quaalude -- equal parts of: Baileys,  Grand Marnier, vodka.  Stir over ice, serve as a shot or on the 
         rocks.
R -    Rum and Coke -- just as it sounds.   Add a slice of lime to make it a Cuba Libre.
S -     Singapore Sling -- ¾ oz. Gin, ¾ oz. cherry brandy, 3 oz. sour mix.  Shake, strain into a collins glass. 
         Add 1 oz. club soda and serve with a cherry and an orange slice.
T -    Tom Collins -- 1.5 oz. gin, 3 oz. sour mix.  shake, strain into tall glass.  Add 1 oz. club soda, serve with a
         cherry and an orange slice.
U -    Undertaker -- 3 parts Sambuca (black), 1 part Bailey's.  Pour into a glass in that order. 
V -    Vodka  with anything -- take a glass of something you think tastes good.  Add vodka.  Enjoy.
W -   (1) Whiskey -- try it on the rocks.
W -   (2) White Russian -- 2 oz. Vodka, 2 oz. Kahlua, 2 oz. light cream.  Shake, strain into highball glass.
W -   (3) Wine in a Can -- not generally available.
X -    XYZ Cocktail -- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 0.5 oz. triple sec, 1 oz. rum.
Y -    Yuengling -- a very nice beer from Pennsylvania, pronounced ‘ying-ling’.
Z -     Zombie -- 1 oz. light rum, 2 oz. dark rum, 1 oz. pineapple juice, 1 oz. sour mix, dash of Rose's Lime 
         Juice.  Shake, strain into exotic glass.  Float some 151 rum on top.
